Restore User Info: MCI Internet customers - Click the Restore User Info button to recreate the dial connection and reconfigure e-mail. MCI Internet's proprietary Recover program will reconfigure your settings with the appropriate dialer connection and mail settings. This can only be used if you have successfully completed a prior MCI Internet registration. Use this feature if your existing connection (i.e. dialer) appears misconfigured, corrupt, or if it was accidentally deleted. Please make sure no other programs are running when you execute this program. Account Updates: MCI Internet customers and former customers - Click the Account Updates button to change your billing plan or if you lost the account security code. Only use the re-registration button if you wish to change your billing options, have had a system crash, or if you need to install MCI Internet on a new machine. This will effectively re-generate your entire account within the MCI network. DUN 1.2 MCI Internet customers - Click on the DUN 1.2 button to install the latest dial-up networking software. Install DUN 1.2 and take advantage of Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP). PPTP is a new networking technology that allows you to use the internet as your own secure virtual private network (VPN). PPTP can allow you to go through a firewall, or access your corporate intranet. You can deploy PPTP either at the remote client PC or at the ISP's local Points of Presence.
